Athena Magazine Photography Permission Form

Thank you for taking the time to complete this form.

As a media company, we have the greatest respect for photographers and the copyright they hold in their work. One of your clients has supplied us with photographs that they would like us to use alongside an editorial feature in Athena Magazine and, before doing so, we’d like to check that you’re happy for us to use your images in this way.

We believe it’s important that photographers are properly credited for their work, which is why we always seek permission directly from the copyright holder wherever possible.

About Athena Magazine

Athena Magazine is a free digital magazine celebrating women in business across Devon.

If you’d like to see how photography is typically used within the magazine, and how photographer credits are displayed, you can browse previous editions here:

Please note:

  • We do not pay for photographs supplied by featured businesses.
  • The images will be used in connection with this specific editorial feature in Athena Magazine.
  • We may also feature one or more of the supplied images on the front cover of the magazine where appropriate.
  • From time to time, we may use screenshots or photographs of magazine pages (which may include your images) when promoting Athena Magazine itself, for example on our website or in advertisements encouraging readers to view the magazine.  you can view examples of this at the bottom of this page.
  • We will always credit you as the photographer within the magazine and, wherever your images appear, we’ll make every effort to include your photographer credit.
  • As Athena is a digital publication, your photographer credit will include a clickable link to your website, allowing readers to discover more about you and your work.
  • We will not license, sell or supply your images to any third party, and they will not be used for any purpose unrelated to Athena Magazine without your further permission.

Of course, you’re under no obligation to agree. If you’d prefer not to grant permission, we completely understand and can simply arrange an alternative photoshoot with the featured business specifically for the magazine instead.

If you’re happy for us to feature your images, we’d be very grateful if you could complete the details below.

Thank you.

We genuinely appreciate you taking the time to complete this form and hope to have the opportunity to showcase your work alongside your client’s feature.
